Necessarily Natural: Art & Environmental Responsibility
I have been an advocate of eco-friendly practices in my daily living for many decades now, beginning with local participation as a young teen in the very first Earth Day Celebration in 1970. Over the years, I have increased my environmental practices, to the point where I found it necessary to not only respond to, but to prioritize my art as environmentally responsible.

This collection highlights my journey as an earth-centered, responsible artist, with colláges created in a variety of sizes; almost 100% eco-friendly and produced to bring attention to our natural world and the risk of extinctions on many levels. Using only recycled paper, canvases, and wooden panels (birch cradleboard), repurposed found objects, eco-friendly Natural Earth Paints, glues, and varnishes, I hope to personally do no (artist) harm while colláging a greener future.
