This portfolio page is a curated collection of original artworks celebrating the beauty of the natural world. My work explores a wide range of themes, from expansive landscapes and waterscapes that capture the serenity of the outdoors to lively beach scenes that evoke a sense of warmth and movement.
I also focus on intimate studies of nature's smaller details, including vibrant, close-up portraits of flowers. The use of various media and sizes throughout the collection demonstrates a versatile approach, ensuring there is a piece to suit any space while maintaining a consistent vision.
Flowers and Foliage
Throughout this collection, my goal is to create more than just images—I aim to create experiences. Each piece is designed to be a place that invites the viewer to remember and engage, whether it's a nostalgic memory of a beach day or a quiet moment of contemplation sparked by a single blossom.
I prioritize the use of vibrant colors and rich textures to make each artwork feel dynamic and alive, inviting you to see the world with fresh eyes and connect with the profound beauty that surrounds us.
I’ve been obsessed with the Bristle Thistle lately—not just as a plant, but as a performance of color and grit. I approached this prairie icon through three different lenses, each capturing a different "beat" of its life cycle.
One landscape, three energies. This series explores the Bristle Thistle not just as a botanical subject, but as a living archive of the prairie’s constant movement—from the heavy physical bloom to the sharp architecture of the thorn, and finally, the rapid flight of the seed.
These pieces were created to be viewed together—tracing the shift from the earth-bound weight of the flower to the wind-born spirit of the seed.
